Kiyoko Sakata

Kiyoko Sakata was born in 1974 in Hiroshima, Japan. She ingraduated in 1998 in metal craft design at Tama Art University in Tokyo. In 2004, her exlibris works were awarded a special prize at the Japan and Taiwan Exlibris Exchange Exhibition. Her first works in book illustration were selected for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. In 2007 her first picture book, "La bambina di neve. Miracolo infantile." (text by Nathaniel Hawthorne) was published by Topipittori in Italy and then in France by Naïve.
